SALES AND BIDS (RECURRING ORDERS)

The Sales and Bid system in PURVEYOR will satisfy both inside and
outside salesmen. Salesmen can have access to A/R, inventory, and
sales analysis data, both from within sales order entry and the menu
system.

Counter Sales

  • authorizations control access to A/R and/or cost data

  • a cash tendered system counts and displays change in simple English

  • future orders may be placed

  • large customers can send you their pricing, which can be loaded
    and printed on the Special Customer-Required Reports (available in both mvBase and MS Access formats) reports you send to them

  • may be chosen from 99 possible, or hand typed in

  • A/R balance, terms, and routing superceed customer's

Controls

  • all sales are subject to the following controls
    1. credit controls including limit, past due, and manual
      2.
    2. gross profit controls
      3.
    3. truck routing (day of week) controls
      4.
    4. inventory activity code controls per product
      5.
    5. pricing controls on override deviations
      6.
    6. pricing controls on which customers can buy which products
    7. lead times are checked before posting
