"AccUI" AccuTerm and MS Office Integration

 

  • We employ both Graphical User Interface (GUI) and Smart User Interface (SUI) elements.  We offer assistance in building both AccuTerm GUI and Smart User Interface (SUI) applications.  We are one of the few companies which can offer true GUI-functionality within the context of the terminal emulation screen, without the need to create complete AccuTerm GUI interfaces, though we offer and like to create and use some of those, too.  Our CursorPro Smart User Interface tools provide GUI editing using mouse, arrows, tab and backtab, and delete, home, end, pg up, pg down, insert, and replace keys.  Our editing subroutines replace simple INPUT commands completely and work directly on the Green-Screen (which does not stay green for long with our help).  Function keys are standardized and maintained through a data entry program.  We like to promote the Smart User Interface as a simplified GUI interface because, when fully implemented the way we do, it provides the functions one really wants out of a Graphical User Interface with no pausing, performance overhead, or flying windows.  Even more attractive is that one does not have to create whole new versions of their applications in order to use the mouse, tab and back tab between fields, move up and down lists using arrows, etc.  Picture backgrounds (“wallpaper”) are now available from AccuSoft in their SUI offerings.
  • Our MultiMenus provide 5 menu types: 2 in SUI and 3 in GUI, all using one set of scripts.Documents can be directly sent and received to and from NotePad and WordPad, sent to Word, and/or exported to MS Excel, using our DOCED, NOTEPAD, WORDPAD, WORD, and EXCEL commands, and/or our SpoolerPro spooler menus.  These documents will automatically launch into their respective applications.  Documents may be exported directly and/or through the spooler menus to NotePad where they can be printed without the need to define a system printer (one can then print to local or network printers through NotePad). Windows documents and files may be uploaded directly into DOCED for editing and printing to the Pick spooler.
  • TCL Stacker commands and stacks from our AccessPro Report Writer can generate reports which export to and launch into MS Access and MS Excel. They can also be turned into documents and pdfs. The SupportPro print screen utility can open and address MS Outlook e-mail, and attach the printed screen, usually for support purposes.Our Database Integrity Package (especially UPD) optionally makes use of AccuTerm's extended screen size capabilities, for both UPD's single-valued screen and its Multi-Valued sortable spreadsheet/grid.
  • AccuTerm scripts can be used as both as data entry time savers and as testing scripts to help assure data integrity.TRANSFORM.ACCUTERM, TRANSFORM.ACCUTERM.1, and TRANSFORM.ACCUTERM.LAUNCH provide front-ends for AccuTerm File Transfer, which can be called from within any Basic program.
  • The complete set of video attributes and color schemes to interact with AccuTerm are provided by the our BuildingBlocks4GL in easy to use, well-named variables in the Named Common Block for the full programming implementation of colors and other attributes, such as raised and inset borders.
